Hi!
I’ve been really bad at updating my blog, but I’m not really the blogging type, and it gets even harder when you have to do it in a foreign language. Well, since my last blog I’ve booked my plane tickets, applied for about ten scholarships and actually got one from the Swedish king! So my trip is endorsed by the Swedish royalty, pretty cool.
Today I read the letter from Aisha Al Kharusi and Mark on what to bring to the trip, and it really freaked me out! No makeup, no fancy clothing, not being able to wash for days. This is going to be a challenge! I wonder what I’m going to bring… Well, I guess we are all going to look the sameJ
Anyways, these are not fun times in Sweden. It’s really cold, lots of people are sick because of the swine flu AND there are rapists loose in Gothenburg. So, I’m staying more than usual. No parties and walking home by myself at night. I even make my boyfriend come and meet me by the bus stop.
Anyways, I’m really looking forward to meeting you guys! Mark sent me some of your e-mail addresses today, so I might contact some of you soon. I’m arriving at December the 3rd and would really like to meet up with the other girls arriving that day but we’ll see what happens!
Ok, that’s a little update from me.
